The seam-sealed, 2-layer construction shuts out moisture and winds yet lets our own vapor escape, keeping us comfortably dry, while the stretchy waterproof back panel ensures our range of motion isn't hindered. When we start collecting elevation, we open the side zippers to turn up the air, and when the rain seems to be falling upward, we cinch the hem and cuffs closed to make sure droplets don't sneak inside.
